In 2017, Dolly earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a nurse practitioner, she served patients in emergency and urgent care settings, where her hands-on approach and commitment to holistic care earned her the trust of countless patients.

Recognizing the growing demand for mental health support during the pandemic, Dolly pursued a Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate through the UC Consortium, graduating from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her dual certification uniquely equips her to address both physical and mental health challenges, ensuring that her patients’ care is as comprehensive as it is compassionate.
Beyond clinical practice, Dolly is a passionate educator and advocate. She has served on the faculty at UCLA School of Nursing for over six years, where she recently earned a promotion to Continuing Lecturer for her teaching excellence. As the lead instructor for the “Fundamentals of Professional Nursing” series, she is highly regarded by students and colleagues alike for her dedication to education and mentorship.

Dolly's journey began as an emergency medical technician in her hometown of Antelope Valley, where she discovered her passion for helping others. She earned her initial Associate Degree in Nursing from Antelope Valley College, launching a 15-year nursing career that spanned emergency departments, intensive care units, and critical care transport. Her work in high-acuity settings—including trauma, stroke, heart attack, and burn centers—solidified her commitment to integrative, patient-centered care. She later expanded her skills as a ground and flight critical care transport nurse, embodying her adventurous and dedicated approach to healthcare.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dolly worked tirelessly on the frontlines—caring for patients in urgent care, intensive care units, and critical care transport settings. She also supported the next generation of nurses by adapting her teaching methods to hybrid and virtual models, ensuring students continued to thrive during unprecedented challenges.
Today, Dolly applies her vast expertise to integrative wellness, focusing on internal health, mental well-being, and sustainable lifestyle changes. At Blossom Med, she offers personalized care rooted in evidence-based practices, helping patients achieve balance and vitality through weight loss, nutritional counseling, exercise guidance, and soon, hormone replacement therapy. Her holistic approach is grounded in compassion, ensuring every patient feels supported and empowered on their wellness journey.
When not practicing or teaching, Dolly is a committed advocate for faculty and students as an active member of her teaching union, UC-AFT. Her work continues to inspire her community and patients alike, as she passionately leads with purpose and care.
